Loyalty coalition: cross-brand points exchange and co-funded promotions
Engagement Ecosystem is Qurable's coalition module: multiple brands share one points program or connect their own, members earn and redeem with any of them, exchange points at each program's rate, and every co-funded promotion records how much each brand contributed.

Before and after
A single-brand program or a loyalty coalition.
A closed program only creates value within your own brand. A coalition multiplies the places where members earn and redeem, provided every point and every contribution is recorded.
| Single brand | Coalition on Qurable | |
|---|---|---|
| Where members earn and redeem | Only with your brand | With your brand and every coalition partner |
| Points from another program | Can't be used | Exchanged at each program's rate; between programs on Qurable, in a single transaction |
| Promotions with partners | Paid by one party or split manually | Co-funded, for example cashback paid 50% by the bank and 50% by the merchant, with each contribution recorded |
| How a partner joins | One integration project per partnership | Via API, on the same rules engine and the same ledger |
| Closing between parties | Spreadsheets and manual reconciliation | The ledger calculates each party's contribution; your team closes each campaign from Qurable Manager |
One integration
Connect to Qurable once and reach the whole coalition.
Each brand integrates once and is connected to every partner and to Qurable's benefits network, with no separate integration for each partnership.
A single integration
Your POS, app or checkout connects to Qurable via API, using integrations already live with clients, and from there you reach every partner.
New partners, no new projects on your side
Each partner joins on the same rules engine and ledger, so your systems stay the same.
The same member everywhere
One record per member, recognized by your brand and by every partner.
A benefits network behind you
Qurable's benefits network can offer perks to your customers without you negotiating a separate partnership with each one, and you decide which ones appear.
From 1,000 benefits to the 20 that matter
The journey engine matches that catalog against each member's profile and picks the 20 that fit them: a one-to-one experience.
Promotions with your partners
Co-fund campaigns with the partners in your coalition, with each party's contribution recorded.
Partner rewards at checkout
After payment, a partner reward picked for each customer.
Every customer sees the payment confirmation screen on every purchase, and today it offers nothing. With Qurable, it shows the partner rewards the journey engine picked for that customer, paid for by the partner.
Picked for Camila
- 2× miles on your flight to LimaPartner airlineBecause you fly to Lima every month
- Free car wash on your next fill-upPartner stationBecause you fill up every week
- 20% off your Friday dinnerPartner restaurantBecause you eat out on Fridays
Funded by the partner. Recorded on the ledger.
1. The payment is confirmed
At the POS, checkout or app: the moment the customer is engaged and satisfied.
2. Qurable picks the benefits
The journey engine matches the partner catalog against the member's profile and shows the few that fit.
3. The partner funds it
The member picks one, the partner pays for the benefit and the ledger records every contribution.
Never slows the payment
Rewards appear after approval: if Qurable doesn't respond, the payment goes through as usual.
You approve the partners
You decide which brands appear and can switch any of them off at any time.
Points exchange
Points exchange between programs, at each brand's rate.
Members move points between coalition programs. Each brand sets its rate and, between programs running on Qurable, the exchange is a single atomic ledger transaction: it either completes in full or not at all.
Atomic exchange
Points leave one program and enter the other in the same transaction, and a retry is never applied twice.
Each brand's rate
Each program sets its own inbound and outbound exchange rates, and every exchange is recorded with the rate applied.
Partner points as a reward
A campaign or journey can reward members with points from a partner's program.
Example: Camila
Camila fills up at a partner station. She earns miles and gets cashback.
An airline leads the coalition with a partner bank and a partner fuel station, which split the cashback evenly. Each step, with its timing.
Camila: pays USD 60 for fuel with a partner bank's card
The station rewards customers with the airline's miles from their first fill-up, so they earn in the coalition program.
Qurable recognizes her as a member of the airline's program and adds 60 miles
Camila: gets USD 6 in cashback, 10% of the purchase
Every co-funded promotion records how much each party contributes. Nobody has to reconstruct it after the fact.
Qurable applies the campaign: the bank pays 50% of the cashback and the station the other 50%
Camila: moves 1,000 points from her bank's program into her miles account
It completes in full or not at all: the ledger never leaves points stranded between two programs.
Qurable runs the exchange at each program's rate, in a single transaction
Camila: redeems 500 miles at a partner restaurant
Members can spend what they've earned anywhere in the coalition, not just with the issuing brand.
Qurable deducts the miles from her balance and records the redemption against the partner
Camila: never sees any of this
The ledger calculates each party's contribution; your team posts the accounting entries and closes each campaign from Qurable Manager. Qurable doesn't move funds between parties.
Qurable records the miles issued and the bank's and station's contributions on the ledger

Account validation
Every member, validated across the coalition.
Before earning, redeeming or exchanging, Qurable knows who the member is. The same mechanisms work at your brand and at every partner.
One record per member
Phone, email, member ID and QR in a single record: the member is the same at every partner.
- In practice
- Find them by any identifier in the service console.
A QR that changes every 30 seconds
At the partner's POS, members identify with a dynamic code that expires every 30 seconds.
- In practice
- Identification in under 50 ms (p95, server-side).
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes
Members carry their account on their phone and show it at any partner.
- In practice
- No partner app needed.
One-time passcode (OTP)
Members confirm the account is theirs with a code before claiming it.
- In practice
- When a program migrates, each member claims their account with an OTP.
Custom validation with each partner
If a partner already validates its users, Qurable relies on it, integrating via API or through the partner's own webview, for example a marketplace with its own sign-in.
- In practice
- The member links their partner account without creating a new one.
FAQ
Questions about loyalty coalitions and points exchange.
A loyalty program shared by several brands, where members earn and redeem points with any of them. On Qurable, the coalition runs on one ledger, so every point has an origin, an owner and an expiration date, and every contribution between brands is recorded.
Four pieces: a single member record that recognizes the member across brands, a shared ledger with each point's origin, owner and expiration, exchange rules at each brand's rate, and reconciliation of each partner's contribution. Qurable's Engagement Ecosystem brings them together on one platform.
It's Qurable's coalition and interoperability module: coalition programs, points exchange between programs at each brand's rate, redemption at partner merchants and co-funded promotions. It uses the same rules engine, member profile and ledger as the rest of the platform.
No. Your brand connects to Qurable once, via API, and is connected to every partner in the coalition. Each new partner joins on the same rules engine and the same ledger, without changing your systems.
The member chooses how many points to move from one program to another. Qurable applies each program's rate and, between programs running on Qurable, records the exchange as a single atomic ledger transaction: points leave one program and enter the other in the same transaction, or not at all.
Each program. Each brand sets the rates at which its points are accepted and converted, and every exchange is recorded with the rate applied.
A partnership connects two programs one to one. A coalition brings several brands together on one program or one network of programs: members earn and redeem with any of them, and every contribution is recorded on the same ledger.
Once the payment is approved, the confirmation screen shows the partner rewards the journey engine picked for that member. The member picks one, the partner funds it and the ledger records it. Your brand decides which partners appear.
Promotions funded by two or more parties, for example cashback paid half by the bank and half by the merchant. Qurable applies the reward at the point of purchase and records on the ledger how much each party contributed.
The ledger records and calculates each party's contribution and the points issued in each campaign. From there, your team posts the accounting entries and closes each campaign from Qurable Manager. Qurable doesn't move funds between parties.
Each member has a single record with their phone, email, ID and QR. At a partner's POS they identify themselves with a QR code that expires every 30 seconds or with an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass. If their program migrates to Qurable, they claim their account with a one-time passcode (OTP), and if a partner already validates its users, Qurable integrates with that validation via API or through the partner's webview.
Nothing is left halfway: between programs running on Qurable, the exchange is a single transaction that completes in full or not at all. A retry is never applied twice and, if it has to be undone, it's reversed with a compensating entry that keeps the trail.
A partner connects via API on the same rules engine and the same ledger. It can buy program points to reward its customers, co-fund promotions and, if it already has a program, connect it so members exchange points at each program's rate.
Yes. SKY Plus, SKY Airline's program, runs on Qurable with more than 70 partnerships and 50,000 daily partner transactions. A card or merchant can also send the reward to a partner brand's frequent flyer program.
A pilot goes live in 1 to 3 months, starting with one partner. Each new partner joins via API on the same rules engine and the same ledger.
