SKY Plus case study
Camila flies with SKY. Her points work on the ground too.
An airline program, told through one member. The same program works with store purchases, fuel fill-ups or restaurant orders.
Camila: creates her account before her first flight
Before she has even flown, she sees promotions, missions and discounts. The program delivers value from sign-up, not after many flights.
Qurable opens her profile at Copper, with missions and rewards for her market
Camila: flies from Santiago to Antofagasta
Points arrive when the airline reports the flight as flown, not when the ticket is bought. A refund never leaves stray points behind.
Qurable credits 1,200 points once the flight is flown
Camila: flies north for the third time and completes the challenge
Missions turn what the business wants to drive into a challenge with a reward:
- 01Flights to destinations the airline wants to fill
- 02Add-ons, such as an extra bag
- 03Open to every member, whatever their tier
Qurable credits her a free checked bag for her next flight
Camila: passes 10,000 qualifying points
The tier is calculated on an account that only goes up. In SKY Plus it syncs with Sabre in real time, so the benefit is honored at the airport with no manual steps.
Qurable moves her up to Gold and updates the reservation system
Camila: redeems 6,000 points at a partner restaurant
The points she earns flying work off the plane too: hotels, dining, cafés and airport services. Redeeming never lowers her tier.
Qurable deducts the points from her balance and leaves her tier untouched
Simulation based on a hypothetical case.
Point types
Every point with its rule, on the same ledger.
A program can run several point types at once, each in its own account and with its own rules. All of them are entries on a double-entry ledger, like money in a bank.
Type 01
Tier points
They set the member's status. They only accumulate, so redeeming never lowers the tier.
- Example
- The qualifying total that moves a traveler from Copper to Gold.
Type 02
Transactional points
They are worth money: earned by buying and used to pay, in your business or a partner's.
- Example
- Miles, or points that pay part of the bill at the POS.
Type 03
Points that convert to a balance or coupon
They turn into a spendable balance or a coupon with a cash value.
- Example
- Cashback in the customer's wallet, or a USD 10 coupon for the next purchase.
Digital ledger
You know where every point is, at all times.
- Real-time liabilityBy currency, country and store, without waiting for month-end close.
- Expirations in viewWhat expires in 30, 60 and 90 days, by batch.
- Capped spendEach campaign issues up to its budget; adjustments need a second approval.
- Selling points to partnersA partner buys points and the sale is recorded in the ledger.
- Instant interoperabilityPoints move to a partner on the spot, at each brand’s rate.
- Verifiable integrityChained entries and optional anchoring to a public blockchain.

Capabilities
Everything your program needs, on one engine.
Earning, redemption, cost control, operations and partners on the same ledger and the same rules. Your team configures it from the console, without development.
Points for any event
A purchase, a payment, a flight flown, a fuel fill-up or an app order.
Multipliers
Double points by category, product, channel or audience, with start and end dates.
Co-funded promotions
A brand or supplier pays part of the promotion, and its contribution is recorded on the ledger.
Your catalog and your partners'
Products, services and experiences, inside and outside your business.
QR coupon at the POS
Points turn into a single-use coupon that is validated at the point of sale.
Pay with points
An atomic hold at the POS: authorized, captured or reversed with the sale.
Coupons
Welcome, birthday or audience coupons, with validity and usage caps.
Funded budget
Each program issues only up to what it has funded.
Caps and guardrails
Spend caps per campaign, program guardrails and exclusion groups.
Expiry and liability
Expiry by batch, FIFO, LIFO or FEFO consumption, and liability by currency, country and store at 30, 60 and 90 days.
Returns
Every movement can be reversed; if the points were already spent, the debt is recorded.
Secure identification
A QR code that refreshes every 30 seconds, or a pass in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
Fast, and never blocks the sale
Identifies the member in under 50 ms (p95, server-side) and decides the benefit in ~150 ms, inside the authorization. If the platform doesn't respond, the POS keeps processing sales and points are credited when it's back.
Permissions and dual approval
Every manual adjustment requires role-based permissions, a second approval and a reason.
POS, ecommerce, app and CRM
Everything via API with signed webhooks, plus a ready-made checkout for web and app where members earn and pay with points. Works alongside Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
Exchange across programs
Points move from one program to another at each brand's rate, in a single ledger operation.
Partners that issue and accept points
A partner can issue your points, accept them for redemption or add its rewards to the catalog.
Partner points
Reward members in another program's currency, such as airline miles.
Coalitions
Several brands share an audience and co-fund promotions, with each contribution recorded.
Missions and gamification
The prize is decided before the animation and it's recorded.
Spin-the-wheel, scratch cards, slot machines, mystery boxes, doors, cards or memory games are built from the console. The mechanic only changes how the result is shown: the prize comes out of a capped budget, with its odds and a cap on plays, and it's recorded in the ledger before the member sees it.

Automatic try budgetAcross the whole game
Members never see the exact odds.
A capped budget
Every game has its own budget. When it runs out, the game stops handing out prizes: it's a hard stop, not an alert.
Every prize, recorded
The prize goes into the ledger with the rule that granted it and its cost, and it can be reversed. Finance sees the liability in real time.
No duplicate prizes
Every play carries an idempotency key: if your app or a webhook retries, the member isn't paid twice.
Missions and badges
Multi-step challenges with a reward on completion, and badges that mark each achievement.
Stamps, trivia, contests and referrals
A stamp card in the member app, questions with prizes, contests with their own rules and referrals that reward both sides.
Games SDK
Integrate the SDK once. Every new game ships without development.
The games and missions you set up in the console show up in your app or website through the Qurable SDK. Your team doesn’t code each mechanic, and marketing launches the next campaign without waiting for a sprint.
See the SDK documentation- Less developmentIntegrate once; wheels, scratch cards or mystery boxes are configured, not coded.
- Faster go-to-marketSetting up a game and integrating it into your app or website takes less than a week. Prizes, odds and caps change from the console.
- Your brand, your channelThe game lives inside your app or website, with your brand.

You write a prompt. AI builds and simulates the campaign.
Tell the AI assistant what you want to achieve, in your own words. It drafts the rule, the audience and the coupons from your program’s catalog, simulates it on the last 7 days of real data and waits for your approval. It works in the console or from your own AI assistant, connected via MCP.

Grounded in what your program can do
AI builds the campaign from your catalog, rules and caps. If you ask for something the platform can't do, it asks a clarifying question.
You approve, with a full audit trail
Nothing that affects members goes live without approval. Every decision records which event arrived, which rule matched and which effect was applied.
Want to try it with your members? We simulate a campaign on your data in a call.
What no one else has
Not another loyalty suite.
Most loyalty suites run alongside the payment and treat points as just another balance. Qurable runs inside the transaction and treats points as money.
| Traditional suite | Engagement & Loyalty | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it decides | Beside the payment, after the purchase | Inside the payment authorization, in ~150 ms |
| How it keeps points | A balance in the vendor's database | Double-entry ledger, with funded budgets and a reversal for every movement |
| Gamification | A module separate from rules | Rules, journeys, missions and trivia on one effects engine |
| AI | Suggests content | Builds the campaign from your catalog, simulates it on 7 days of real data and waits for approval |
Questions
Questions about the loyalty points program.
It is a loyalty program where customers earn points for buying or using a service and redeem them for rewards. The best ones add tiers, missions and partners so customers come back for more than price. Qurable runs it end to end.
A loyalty program is the full strategy to bring customers back: rewards, tiers, communication and experience. A points program is one of its mechanics: customers earn on every purchase or event and redeem. With Qurable you combine points, tiers, missions, coupons and partners in the same program.
It is Qurable's module to build and run a points program: earning on purchases, flights or any event, missions, tiers, redemption and a partner network, with a console for your team and a portal for your members. AI builds campaigns and journeys that your team simulates and approves before they go live.
Yes. Qurable is API-first and white-label: earning rules, balances, redemption and expirations run through a REST API, signed webhooks and MCP, and your app or website uses an SDK with your brand. It runs on any cloud. If you're considering building your own engine, the “Points and rewards engine” guide compares both paths.
The tier is calculated on a qualifying account that only goes up, separate from the redeemable balance, so redeeming never lowers the tier. You set the thresholds and expiry. A member can also reach a tier through a partnership, for example with a bank.
Tier points, which set status and only go up; transactional points, which are worth money and can be used to pay, like miles; and points that turn into a wallet balance or a coupon with a cash value. Each type lives in its own account on the same double-entry ledger.
On the event you define: a purchase, a payment or a flight flown. An airline, for example, can credit them when it reports the flight as flown rather than when the ticket is sold. If the platform doesn't respond, the sale goes through and points are credited once it's back online.
Every point issued is a debt to the member. Each program issues up to the budget it has funded, every campaign has spend caps, and the program has guardrails and exclusion groups. Liability by currency and market and expirations at 30, 60 and 90 days are visible in real time, on a double-entry ledger.
It doesn't. Every play carries an idempotency key, so if your app or a webhook retries, the second call doesn't hand out another prize. Each game also has a capped budget and a cap on plays, and every prize is recorded in the ledger with the rule that granted it, and can be reversed if needed.
Setting up a game in the console and integrating it into your app or website takes less than a week. You choose the mechanic (wheel, scratch card, slot machine, mystery box, doors, cards or memory), the prizes and their odds, the audience, the cap on plays and the budget. The following games need no development.
Any brand with repeat customers: airlines like SKY, fuel retailers like Shell and Axion, restaurants like Mostaza, retail, banks and fintechs. The event that earns points changes; the program stays the same.
Yes. With Engagement Ecosystem, points are exchanged with other brands' points at each program's rate, in a single ledger operation. Your partners can also issue your points, accept them for redemption or co-fund promotions.
Yes. We import your member base and their balances as opening balances, with a reconciliation report, and members claim their account with a code sent to their email or phone. Both programs can run in parallel before the cutover.
With a pilot in one market or channel, measured against a control group: purchase frequency, average order value and program cost, compared with members who didn't get the campaign. Liability and redemptions are read in real time on the ledger.

How we start
With your current program or from scratch.
If you already have a program, we connect to your systems and migrate your member base; if you're starting from scratch, we design it with you. Either way, the pilot goes live in 1 to 3 months; a full migration depends on scope.
