TRIBU: three brands, one program, and a partner ecosystem

How Grupo Dabra unified Dexter, Moov, and Stock Center into a single loyalty program, with an integrated partner network, in 45 days.

In regional sporting goods retail, when a group operates multiple brands, each one ends up with its own customer base. Without a unified view, cross-sell across the brands of the group is lost, and customers who buy only once a year (the majority) find no reason to return. Grupo Dabra solved this with TRIBU: a single program for Dexter, Moov, and Stock Center, with an integrated partner ecosystem that extends the value proposition beyond retail itself.

The direction of sporting goods retail

In global sporting goods retail, leading organizations moved toward programs that reward sustained behavior and community belonging, not isolated transactions. A program that recognizes the continuous relationship of the customer with the brand, and not just the specific purchase, is what separates a discount plan from a real customer relationship platform.

BCG quantifies the effect: leading personalization organizations grow approximately 10 percentage points faster than laggards in annual revenue (BCG Personalization Index, 2025). What makes the difference is not the catalog of benefits. It is the unique customer identity, which allows the brand to see and reward real behavior.

The case: TRIBU at Grupo Dabra

Grupo Dabra is one of Argentina's leading sporting goods retailers and operates three brands: Dexter, Moov, and Stock Center. The starting point of the project showed a significant but fragmented base: 2.6 million active customers in the last 12 months, 4 million annual tickets, an average purchase frequency of 1.56, and 67% of the universe concentrated in a single annual purchase. Each brand and each channel (physical store and e-commerce) operated independently.

The project began with a program discovery workshop with stakeholders from business, product, and experience. The four outcomes defined were to increase purchase frequency, raise average ticket, secure active program adhesion, and consolidate a unified customer base across the physical and digital channels of the three brands. On those outcomes, the team designed a program that had to be simple, emotional, and differentiating.

The program

TRIBU is an omnichannel, free, and unified program for Dexter, Moov, and Stock Center. The Tribu concept builds community around sports and cultural interests — Sport Tribes such as Runners, Rugby, Football; Urban Tribes such as Trap, Fashion, Retro Basketball — and connects with the identity of the sports consumer beyond the transactional model.

The tier system is tied to purchase frequency. Tier 1 enters with the first purchase and accumulates 1 point per $350 spent. Tier 2 activates on the second purchase within 12 months. Tier 3 is reached on the fourth purchase within 12 months and doubles the rate (2 points per $350). Redemption is direct: 1 point equals 1 peso, redeemable in vouchers of $5,000, $10,000, $20,000, and $40,000.

Benefits accompany each stage of the customer lifecycle: welcome discount at registration, points for profile completion and referrals at activation, in-store QR check-in and birthday gift at the frequency stage, access to exclusive events at the deeper-relationship stage, triple-points day and annual reward at retention, and early access to launches for the most committed customers.

The Alianzas module: TRIBU's partner ecosystem

On top of TRIBU, Qurable built the Alianzas module, a benefits ecosystem integrated into the program. The idea is to invite external partners — brands aligned with the day-to-day of the sports and urban culture consumer — to join TRIBU's benefits network in an automated and personalized way. For Grupo Dabra, this turns TRIBU into something more than a loyalty program: it becomes a strategic ecosystem that enriches the value proposition, adds reasons for the member to return, and opens new revenue opportunities.

The model operates with three roles. The partner (for example, a coffee shop joining the network) offers benefits from a simple, self-managed platform, without proprietary development. The program owner — TRIBU — accepts the commercial proposal and automatically publishes the benefits inside the Alianzas section. And the program member discovers the benefit, visits the store, and presents the coupon to use it. The entire ecosystem is managed in an agile, simple, and automated way.

For members, this translates into an integrated experience: they discover relevant benefits inside the same program, find more reasons to come back to TRIBU recurrently, access exclusive promotions connected to their day-to-day (food, fashion, health, technology, and sports), and participate in an ecosystem that keeps expanding.

The most important part of the project was not launching another points program. It was building, for the first time, a unified customer base that connects the physical and digital channels of the three brands of the group.

Technical integration was the critical path. Resolving it quickly, without breaking commercial processes already in production, was the difference between launching the program in 45 days or in many months.

Results one year after launch

+1Mregistered members in the first year
45 daysfull time to production
74/20/5%tier distribution (T1 / T2 / T3)

The tier distribution confirms the effect of the staged design: the base enters through Tier 1 with the first purchase, and a relevant share advances to Tier 2 within the first twelve months.

The technical capabilities that made TRIBU possible

Reaching over 1,000,000 members in one year, with the Alianzas module running on top, required an architecture that integrated into Grupo Dabra's existing commercial systems without breaking processes in production. The pieces that sustain the program:

  • Unified Customer Data Platform (CDP). Consolidation of Dexter, Moov, and Stock Center into a single program, enabling advanced cross-selling strategies.
  • Connection with Salesforce and Dynamics: program data feeds directly into the customer management system.
  • Integration with multiple payment systems in-store and online, with agile and secure transactions.
  • Microcredit, gift card, and financial service issuance from the loyalty platform itself.
  • Unified web application for physical and digital management, with fast implementation of new features.
  • Full launch in 45 days: customer portal, program management console, and POS/e-commerce integrations.

The implication

Regional sporting goods retail wins where it builds a customer identity that connects its brands and its channels, where the program rewards frequency more than the isolated purchase, and where the value proposition extends beyond retail itself through a partner ecosystem. TRIBU shows that this model can be applied in LATAM with a proprietary, omnichannel program, with an active partner network, and built in 45 days.

How does your organization measure the success of the loyalty program today: by points issued, or by purchase frequency, the unified customer base, and the partnerships that connect the program member with their full day-to-day?
